Picnic at Hanging Rock is a re-imagining of the iconic Joan Lindsay novel. Filmed entirely in Victoria and starring Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) as English headmistress Mrs Hester Appleyard, the six-part drama will plunge viewers into the mysterious disappearances of three schoolgirls and one teacher on Valentine’s Day 1900. Also starring Samara Weaving as Irma Leopold, Madeleine Madden as Marion Quade and Lily Sullivan as Miranda Reid, the drama will premiered on Foxtel’s showcase channel on May 6th.
